ABOUT US
Our Mission
Our passion for music is what drives us to provide the highest level of service for our customers. We keep your instruments in great shape or help you find the instrument that suits your needs so that you can make music for years to come.
Our Story
Sean started The Tuning Fork in 2020 to share his love of music with the Shenandoah Valley. In addition to his work at the shop as a professional luthier and repair specialist, Sean is an avid instrument collector, sound technician, and multi-instrumentalist. He currently plays percussion for Amateur Rodeo and LOVEDAWG, and synth/keys for Off Tha Dome.
What We Do
We buy, sell, and rent used instruments and gear, tune pianos, provide live sound for events and shows, and can repair anything music-related, from instruments to electronics. Our store also hosts a practice space and Chet's Bootleg Station, a small but powerful DIY recording studio perfect for a solo artist or a small band.
